I share this testimony in the spirit of friendship to any fellow seeker of Christ.
I am a normal lay member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have no presiding authority to teach or command within the organization of the church. Within the stewardship of the organization, I respect the authority of those presiding authorities, and I keep these experiences to myself. I share unrestrained to my friends and my family. Spirituality and the gospel are greater than any organization.
I served an honorable mission, married in the temple, and have a current temple recommend. I have been and remain an active member of the LDS church. I have no intentions of leaving it.
I have been asked to post this testimony here. I hope that this will be a one-post declaration of the grace Christ has bestowed on me. I have no intention to publicize this beyond a few family members and friends. I am not a great example. I have no secret to share that has been hidden. All I can do is testify that knowing Christ literally is possible. This is not a full record of my experiences, but what I share here did happen.
Background
I started college at BYU as a freshman in 1994. I had one full school year before my LDS mission. During that freshman year, I took up reading the Book of Mormon for a half hour every day. I soon recognized an invitation to know the Lord personally as did Lehi, Nephi, and many others contained within that book. This invitation to know the Lord is explicitly made in D&C 93:1.
D&C 93:1 Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am;
The invitation in this scripture impressed me so much that I included it on my missionary plaque. From that time, seeing His face and knowing the Lord has been my goal. I sought after this goal for nearly 18 years. This desire has not been merely a new whim. I am not a kindergartner seeking a crash course in calculus.
Joseph Smith taught “for God hath not revealed anything to Joseph, but what He will make known unto the Twelve, and even the least Saint may know all things as fast as he is able to bear them, for the day must come when no man need say to his neighbor, Know ye the Lord; for all shall know Him (who remain) from the least to the greatest.’ ” Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, page 149.
I believed him.
I didn’t have a name for what I went through during that period at BYU until many years later. Though I was baptized by water when I was 8, it was during that year, at age 18, that I received the Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost.
This is how in 2012, I found myself pleading for truth and wisdom. That prayer led me to a book called The Second Comforter: Conversing with the Lord Through the Veil by Denver C. Snuffer Jr. I recognized The Second Comforter as a manual. I saw in it many experiences that I had already gone through. It was like a map. From reading it I saw where I had been on the path, where I was, and what else I could expect to experience. It was then a simple matter of pondering, identifying, and working on the areas I had identified.
My Witness
On April 14, 2012, I was carried away into the heavenly temple. I shook the hand of the angel that was my guide. I saw and heard the Father and the Son speak to me. This experience involved sight, touch, sound, and smell. It was as real as anything I have experienced in my day-to-day life, only the glory and intelligence conveyed is indescribable. This was not my last encounter beyond the veil.
I am a witness that Jesus Christ lives. He is a real, knowable person.
If you seek and accept His messengers to prepare the way, He will come suddenly to His temple and reveal to you His glorious body of burnings. He is talkative. He wants to know you more than you want to know Him. I know this because I have experienced this as a man speaks to another.
Jesus Christ is the Second Comforter. He literally came to me and has comforted me.
This is not a full statement of my witness. I share my testimony so that you may know that Christ lives and His work is to save imperfect people. I hope that this testimony will allow you to exercise faith enough to lay hold on these blessings.
The Doctrine of Christ
The path to knowing Him is simple. The Book of Mormon calls it the Doctrine of Christ. It is faith, repentance, baptism, and then to actually receive the Holy Ghost. Once you have actually received the Baptism by Fire and the Holy Ghost you must do everything the Holy Ghost says until Christ manifests Himself to you. This is the end or goal to which we endure. It is to know Him literally. He has a ministry to accomplish with you personally.
You cannot get there by following any program or man. It is a matter of working on what one thing the Holy Ghost tells you to do each day. We are commanded to press forward to this goal with steadfastness.
2 Nephi 31:20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
If you are expecting to know Christ in death when you have not known Him in life, you will be disappointed. While being martyred, Stephen would not have been welcomed by Christ in His glory had Stephen not known Christ in his life.
Alma 34:32 For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors. 33 And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed. 34 Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.
The Book of Mormon contains this doctrine within its first six verses. Page after page, example after example, we can see how normal people had the desire and faith to know the Lord while in the flesh. Study Nephi’s last discourse in 2 Nephi, especially chapters 31-32. Study Moroni Chapter 7 and the ministry of angels. Study the whole book with the idea of how you can obtain what the authors obtained. They were not satisfied until they knew God while during their mortal lives.
The Lectures on Faith – A Neglected Treasure
I highly recommend the Lectures on Faith. It is scripture and was accepted as such by all quorums and the general membership of the church. It was edited, written, and approved by a man that had communed with Jehovah. The Lectures on Faith set out in methodical form keys or knowledge to knowing Christ and His Father.
Without Faith There is No Ministry of Angels – A Key Offered
In the months that followed, a heavenly messenger came to my bedside and taught me from the scriptures, primarily the Book of Mormon and Isaiah. This happened on three different nights over a period of two months, each time repeating the prior message and adding more. The best one line summary of the hours-long conversation is “the Gentiles in the Book of Mormon should be understood as referring to the LDS”. Please understand that this is a very inadequate summary.
Moroni 7:37 Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain. 38 For no man can be saved, according to the words of Christ, save they shall have faith in his name; wherefore, if these things have ceased, then has faith ceased also; and awful is the state of man, for they are as though there had been no redemption made.
Ask the Lord to show you what unbelief you have. If you ask with a sincere heart, He will answer you. A sincere heart means that you are willing to accept the answer no matter what it is without preconceptions. Work on casting aside that unbelief. This is the hard part. We have accepted many traditions that are unbelief. The Book of Mormon will be your key. It was written to you, its reader.
In the period that has followed, my mind has been completely blown by the knowledge communicated from heaven. I had to lay down long-held beliefs that were really philosophies of men. A quality that is attractive to heaven is an openness to learning. I have also learned that if Angels have not come to you, then it is because of some unbelief that you are holding onto. Unbelief is more than not believing, it also includes belief in errors or incorrect belief. You may not even be aware of what it is. You may think it is truth when it is not.
Whose Connection to Heaven Matters?
To those who rely on others for their connection to heaven, the standing of any apostle, president, parent, bishop, or any other person, whether they commune with God or not, will not matter for your salvation. What matters is your own connection to heaven. If every person magnifies his calling and converses with the Lord, it will not matter to you if you do not do the same. God is no respecter of persons; you cannot be in the same kingdom as Nephi, Lehi, Abraham, and others without having had the same experiences. There is never any safety in following men. Even followers of true prophets find themselves in the telestial kingdom (see D&C 76:98-101).
Lectures on Faith 6:8 It is in vain for persons to fancy to themselves that they are heirs with those, or can be heirs with them, who have offered their all in sacrifice, and by this means obtained faith in God and favor with him so as to obtain eternal life, unless they in like manner offer unto him the same sacrifice, and through that offering obtain the knowledge that they are accepted of him.
The True Standard of Righteousness
Regarding righteousness, a person can try to live up to every law and commandment both cultural and scriptural and it will be insufficient. At the end of the day, after all we can do, we are saved by Christ’s grace. Why did Nephi labor so diligently to teach of Christ? Why did he and his people believe in Christ and talk about Him so much?
Nephi spoke of Christ because all we do amounts to basically nothing. No amount of compliance with any law will be sufficient to save us.
Assume your height was a visible measure of your righteousness. You could compare yourself to others and say, “Look, I’m six feet tall and everyone else is five feet, therefore I am righteous.” This is in essence what we do; we compare ourselves to others and find comfort in being “taller”.
Christ is the Empire State Building or Mt. Everest. From His perspective the difference between the best of us and the worst of us is so insignificant that we all equally fall short. You can’t even tell from the top of the Empire State Building just who is taller than the other.
This is the standard of righteousness that heaven uses. We all fall so far short of it that it is purely by Christ’s grace that we are saved.
You will not save yourself by saving up for that bicycle. The amount you offer is nothing compared to the standard of Righteousness. The only thing you can offer is a broken heart and contrite spirit. You must be willing to set aside anything and everything to know Him, including your cherished but incorrect beliefs.
To the Critics of the Church
For those of you aware of facts that have shaken your faith in Joseph Smith or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faith in a man or an institution is idolatry. The only object worthy of faith is Jesus Christ. To have your faith shaken in an idol is a good thing. Joseph Smith defined Mormonism as truth:
Mormonism is truth; and every man who embraces it feels himself at liberty to embrace every truth. Consequently the shackles of superstition, bigotry, ignorance, and priestcraft, fall at once from his neck; and his eyes are opened to see the truth, and truth greatly prevails over priestcraft…The first and fundamental principle of our holy religion is, that we believe that we have a right to embrace all, and every item of truth, without limitation or without being circumscribed or prohibited by the creeds or superstitious notions of men, or by the dominations of one another, when that truth is clearly demonstrated to our minds, and we have the highest degree of evidence of the same.– Joseph Smith -Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith, page 264,
The truth is, your skepticism of men and institutions puts you in good company. In 1830 the Lord called the church “true and living” (D&C 1:30). By 1832 the Lord stated that the church is “condemned” (D&C 84:54-57). By 1841 the Lord says He has taken the fullness of the priesthood away from the church (D&C 124:28). The Lord promised that if we did not repent, we would “by [our] own works, bring cursings, wrath, indignation, and judgments upon your own heads, by your follies, and by all your abominations, which you practice before me, saith the Lord.” (v. 48).
You have learned truth and that truth is confirmed by the Lord’s own words. We were moved out of Nauvoo and have suffered cursings by our own follies. With this knowledge of truth you can refocus your faith in the proper place, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is an expert at saving fallen things.
If you do not accuse each other, God will not accuse you. If you have no accuser you will enter heaven, and if you will follow the revelations and instructions which God gives you through me, I will take you into heaven as my back load. If you will not accuse me, I will not accuse you. If you will throw a cloak of charity over my sins, I will over yours—for charity covereth a multitude of sins. – Joseph Smith -Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, page 193
We all need this cloak of charity.
I am not an Example
I am not an example because I am more righteous or perfect or more virtuous. I am not. I am utterly unworthy of any heavenly attention as to myself and am certainly not worth any earthly attention. I only share my experience so that others may know that no matter how low you are, Christ will save you if you let Him.
Christ’s work is to save you. He is good at what He does. Let Him work with you. Be patient and teachable as a little child. Children do not have all the preconceptions and false traditions we have. Try to read the Book of Mormon without any preconceptions about what it means. I know that is very hard to do. I still have weaknesses. We all do. We are given weaknesses to humble us. Let yourself be humble.
I have no stewardship to reveal anything to any member of the church. I am not a presiding authority, and therefore nothing I share would be of any force to anyone. I believe I had stated that clearly, but I do so again just to be clear.
The Lord has asked me to share these thoughts here, but only in the capacity as a friend and fellow seeker, and not by way of commandment or revelation. So while I am under an obligation to post, no one else is under any obligation beyond what they are persuaded by the Holy Ghost. The only tool I have is testimony and persuasion. I do not consider myself an expert, special, more righteous, or anything other than an ordinary LDS guy.
My only goal in writing here is to increase faith in Christ. I believe the preeminent doctrine worth talking about is the Doctrine of Christ — Faith, Repentance, Baptism, taking the Holy Ghost as your guide until Christ manifests Himself to you. Christ is real and employs no servant at the gate.
2 Nephi 9:41 O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name.
If my words have caused anyone to have less faith in Christ, then I beg for your forgiveness and ask you to ignore me. Of all my mistakes, which are many, it yet remains that I experienced what I did. To echo Joseph’s words — I know it and I know God knows it.
I do not fault nor accuse anyone for disbelieving me. Christ is the only one worthy of belief. Believe in Him. Seek after Him. He has promised that He will come to you. Please do not be satisfied with anything less than His literal presence.
John 14:23 – Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
D&C 130:3 – John 14:23—The appearing of the Father and the Son, in that verse, is a personal appearance; and the idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man’s heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false.
Please do not stop casting out unbelief until the Angels come and Christ manifests Himself. These things are absolutely necessary for your eternal salvation. Christ has a work to do that no earthly man or program can provide. There is no servant at the gate. There is no substitute for conversing with the Lord through the veil.

Thank you for sharing these things. I know its difficult to put yourself out there for criticism and to give others the opportunity to bare false witness against you and/or accuse you for having shared such glorious things. One of our articles of faith states that we lds should hope for all things and to beleive ALL things. Thank you for your beautiful testimony and witness. You are right. At the end of the day it doesnt matter if others beleive your experiences though. What is important is for them to go on and receive of their own. Often times that belief begins when we know of others who have received such things and we begin to believe it is possible for us. This is what fast and testimony meetings are supposed to be about and why God asks His followers to bear witness of Him. Its not to venture into voyeurism but to give HOPE. We need to develop Faith, Hope, And Charity and we can KNOW Him. Even all this can we do if we will. Amen!
Read this right away after you pointed it out. Then asked Father to point out my unbelief. Lets do this and not procrastinate.
I draw strength from your words. I long for that Living Water to quench my parched soul. Your witness gives me assurance He can come to me too, my Beloved, the King of Kings. I realize now that I don’t know anything, all my “truth” is false and all unbelief until I receive that sure knowledge. God help me.

Know that your intent to nurture greater faith in Christ has been achieved in my soul. Your words have strengthened me on my path to the Second Comforter. Thank you for your humble testimony. I believe you. Thank you for your words about unbelief. Joseph Smith taught us to believe ALL things. We often conflate that to mean ALL gospel-related things. Joseph did not put a limit on that statement. We need to believe ALL things. That is the beginning of true discernment. Then like you stated, ask God to remove your unbelief on a daily basis. He is in control, we just need to repent daily.
I really like how clear you were about specific points of your experience. Thank you for being willing to share in such a manner. You say that we need to get our own connection to heaven. I believe you are right. We need this connection or we will never be saved from this world.

I joined the LDS church over 40 years ago, and in those days it seemed that even though we did not talk of it much, the goal of everyone was to push forward and receive the visitations and witnesses that you speak of. I don’t see that too often anymore. I rarely hear it spoken of as doctrine, and almost never is it spoken from the pulpit. That is sad. I miss it.
The idea that the Book of Mormon was written as a warning about what could happen to the LDS faith would not have occurred to us then, I don’t think. Today, everything is Topsy-turvy.
I also believe Daniel’s testimony and am so thankful he followed the Lord’s prompting to answer when I asked if there were any other witnesses besides Denver to the process outlined in The Second Comforter: Conversing With the Lord Through the Veil (TSC), which is simply the doctrine of Christ from the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi 31-32). Daniel’s testimony changed my heart and helped me cast off a lot of my unbelief. I am also very grateful to Frederick for being a third witness to me.
I have experienced many of the fruits of the path of instruction leading up to the veil since choosing to truly believe and follow the doctrine of Christ in fulfillment of His promises. I encourage everyone to believe in Christ unto repentance, and to ask, seek, and knock, as you follow the Light of Christ and the Holy Spirit back into His presence. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Read the Book of Mormon, the Lectures on Faith, and TSC again with as open, believing, and as child-like (to the Lord) a faith as you possibly can. Cast off your unbelief and deny yourself of all ungodliness, Moroni 10:32-33, D&C 93:1. Trust the Lord and act on the feelings and subjective experiences and signs He gives you. As the Prophet Joseph put it, grow into the principle of revelation, by noticing and acting on the intelligence He gives you, and He will give you more and more, until you reach Him.
I’m not there yet, but there have been many undeniable fruits and signs following my renewed faith in Him and His doctrine, which, to quote Nephi, is “the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.”
I feel happy to know about this testimonies, I’m 39years old and I learning a lot about when something sad happen to me to “let it go” with Suplication and get out and share the gospel, and after receiving comfort. I know that we talk and rejoice in Christ the heavens are happy and we feel that also…our comfort isn’t complete because I suppose the rest will be with Christ…I hope in this life to see through the veil some celestial being and to receive a pure love and friendship…
Dan, this is what Nephi was describing in 2 nephi 25:26 : “…we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies…” I am so grateful for your words. When we talk and share, we rejoice in our Redeemer. My hope that I can experience the same begins to overflow. I am pursuing the same path and your sharing the glorious ending is a great blessing. Shall we not go on in so great a cause? Courage, on to the victory! .

Thanks Dan. You know, the fact that I know you(a little bit) really gives me hope! You really are just a normal guy. Part of my unbelief is that I will only see the Lord when I have become a certain “type” of person, and only certain “types” of people have actually seen him and know him. Of course I am not that “type” of person and probably never will be. I have got to let go of the lie.
Several months ago I was prompted to start using the phrase ‘Latter Day Saints’ interchangeably with ‘gentiles’ when ever I came across it in the Book of Mormon. I do it and it sure sheds a lot of light on our true condition before God.

The spirit has testified to me of the truthfulness of your testimony. I have read it several times and each time I weep at your witness that He wants to know us more than we want to know Him. I am grateful that you have shared this and I have hope that I will someday be received of Him. Thank you for sharing this first-hand witness. After my mission, I searched for years to find others who longed for these things and only recently have the Heavens been opened. Truly Father is allowing additional Light to come forth and those of us who are actively seeking it are running to it.

I left my former church 40+ years ago because it was not getting me closer to God. And though the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has taught me much more about God, I haven’t felt moved closer to Him all that much. I rejoice that imperfect people are finding their way to Him and share their experiences and joy and encourage us to do the same.

Hi, have you read revelations found in The Second Book of Commandments? (www.2bc.info 1961 to present) Some question that the Lord would call a prophet independent of His Gentile church leadership. And besides, many others today write revelations in the Lord’s name. But some of us sought diligently and prayerfully for many years and know that the 2BC is a true continuation of the gift of oracles restored to the Prophet Joseph for Israel in the last days. All those that receive revelation today must present their revelation to the School of the Prophets authorized by the 2BC. And the School will determine from the Lord if it is a true revelation.

Gad, I will join my friends (as well as many people I do not know) in telling you thank you for sharing your testimony so clearly. In Lehi’s time, many prophets were testifying, and Lehi ended up joining their ranks. I view you (and some of my other friends) as being like them.

Thank you Daniel for your testimony. Each of us must climb our spiritual Mount Sinai where at the top Christ awaits with open arms. Most members believe that being “born of the water and of the Spirit” mean watery baptism and confirmation. This simple is not true. “Born of the water” is watery baptism and confirmation because both are necessary to be a complete watery baptism. “Born of the Spirit” is the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, truly a separate event never to be forgotten. We must experience it because as the Lord through Alma (Mosiah 27:25-27) taught we must become spiritually begotten children of Christ or we are cast off (one of the lower kingdoms). The baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost causes, among other things, this spiritual rebirth to take place, not to mention becoming cleansed of all sin, prerequisite to being in the presence of Christ. (D&C 76:116,117)
Seeking his face consumes my every thought. Thank you for pointing me to my unbelief. It’s often hard to know what to focus on exactly and even to know where the path is we must take. I know that casting off my unbelief will lead me closer to him. Thank you!
I have posted this before at http://www.weepingforzion.com where it generated surprisingly little discussion, and would like to hear further from those here in response to my scriptural offerings in regards to the Second Comforter experienced by Dan and some of you of late (I have slightly edited it for this site). Dan I appreciate your admirable fairness in allowing me to re-post it here. My attempt contained herein is sincere, I assure you of that. Here are my observations and questions:
So interesting to read these testimonies…thank you for sharing these. I love the spirit of hope…this shortening of the days towards Jesus’ return, so joyful a moment!
If I may be bold, I have a question which bothers me, perhaps some of you can share your conjecture on it to help me out in my journey- According to D&C 124:28, a decade after receiving the fulness of the priesthood in very early 1830’s, the Lord stated that He had taken away this very fulness, and had not yet restored it in 1841:
28 For there is not a place found on earth that he may come to and restore again that which was lost unto you, or which he hath taken away, even the fulness of the priesthood.
The Lord further severely chastises the Saints for not living consecration as found in Section 42, and then flat out states that the Church is not right with Him in verse 48, thus common sense states these are the reasons why the priesthood was taken away-
48 For instead of blessings, ye, by your own works, bring cursings, wrath, indignation, and judgments upon your ownheads, by your follies, and by all your abominations, which you practice before me, saith the Lord
Following this there has never been an instance documented, or even simply claimed by anyone in the LDS faith since then, that the Lord finally did return and ‘restore AGAIN that which He took away, even the fulness of the Priesthood’, in the 4+ generations that has since passed.
Now, according to Section 84:19-22 the fulness of the priesthood, which obviously contains the ‘greater priesthood’, is ESSENTIAL to seeing the face of God-
19 And this greater priesthood administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the mysteries of the kingdom, even the key of the knowledge of God. 20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the power of godliness is manifest. 21 And without the ordinances thereof, and the authority of the priesthood, the power of godliness is not manifest unto men in the flesh; 22 For without this no man can see the face of God, even the Father, and live.
So, my problem lies in the fact that-
1. The greater or highest priesthood is THE pre-requisite to seeing the face of God (Jesus).
2. Without the highest priesthood, the face of God CANNOT be an event which can happen.
3. According to the above scriptures, the greater priesthood was taken away by the LORD Himself.
4. This greater priesthood has NEVER been restored by the Lord, who according to JST Genesis 14:25-40, is the ONLY possible One who directly ordains a person to it, and the fruits or the proof, is manifested in POWER, not just in vocal testimony, in the which is demonstrated by these manifestations-
28 It being after the order of the Son of God; which order came, not by man, nor the will of man; neither by father nor mother; neither by beginning of days nor end of years; but of God;
29 And it was delivered unto men by the calling of his own voice, according to his own will, unto as many as believed on his name.
30 For God having sworn unto Enoch and unto his seed with an oath by himself; that every one being ordained after this order and calling should have power, by faith, to break mountains, to divide the seas, to dry upwaters, to turn them out of their course;
31 To put at defiance the armies of nations, to divide the earth, to break every band, to stand in the presence of God; to do all things according to his will, according to his command, subdue principalities and powers; and this by the will of the Son of God which was from before the foundation ofthe world.
32 And men having this faith, coming up unto this order of God, were translated and taken up into heaven.
So, as an obvious observation, I have not heard anyone claim the restoration of this Priesthood, the greater or highest Priesthood, by the Lord directly to anyone of my contemporaries here.
Further, if somebody did make this claim, the above JST scriptures make clear how the power of this priesthood would be manifested, leaving no doubt, just as the saints did in Melchizidek’s day, Enoch’s day, and the magnificent era of 4th Nephi, where the very elements were controlled and commanded by these holy saints.
So, without being rude, how is it possible that so many of you are able to go against the pre-requisites in the word of the Lord as contained in His holy Scriptures, and still see the face of God?? Please enlighten me. If you are having this experience, then the word of the Lord above is blatantly incorrect.
If your experiences, which I have tried for so long myself to have without any success, is true, then there is yet hope for me! But until the Word of the Lord is justified in this, i am left scratching my mostly empty head… Please don’t be shy, I’d love to hear from all of you as I am as sincere in my desires as you are, and am completely aware of my pathetic nothingness before the Lord, whose mercy I desperately crave.

You converse with the Lord through the veil to get the missing pieces. Also, think of priesthood as a relationship/channel and see if that provides light.
Hi Fusion. If I may, let me suggest that what would be of immediate concern is that you concentrate on that next rung on the ladder and not so much with what is at the top, so to speak. What is at the top will come, but one only gets there ascending one rung at a time. I think you already know this. (Just from your post I see you are a deep and thoughtful person.) As Nephi said “Enter in By the way and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what you should do.” (2 Ne. 32:5) This is also the power by which we may “know the truth of all things.” (Mni 10:5) let the HG teach you all you want to know. The Baptism of fire and the HG is the next rung. The Lord will give you an answer to that question that will not only satisfy you but will open up vistas of knew insight and understanding into the priesthood and its operations.
If this seems a cop out to you or a skirting of the question, be that as it may. There are several here on this board that could probably provide you with AN answer, but would probably leave you with more questions than answers, as it appears that the “Weeping for Zion” community was unable to answer to your satisfaction. And speaking from experience how the Lord answers is so much more edifying. I think you already know this as well.
As I read D&C 124:28 it seems to me that the Lord is addressing the church as a whole, or as an institution. My own interpretation is that a type of fullness was restored during the Kirtland Temple experience, then many apostated and fell into sin and that fullness was withdrawn.
Also, the fullness of the priesthood is not the same as the High Priesthood, or the Priesthood of Melchizedek which holds the power to stand in the presence of the Lord. We still have that authority. Receiving the power has always been an individual process.
The fullness of the priesthood is always revealed by the Lord personally. When enough individuals have received this, then a ZION, or institutional fullness is established.

Also in section 84,it states you must be faithful unto the obtaining the two preparatory Priesthoods before the highest priesthood is acquired. The timing and bringing of heavenly manifestations is confusing the way Joseph brought these revelations forward. Onward and upward.
So let me get this straight….15 million members of the church and only a handful of people know about this. Wouldn’t God want more people to know about this? How did you see Him if the “fullness” of the priesthood was taken away?
I don’t disbelieve that this is possible but when as one reader put, “my ever thought is consumed with having this experience” it sounds a little cultish.
I have had my own spiritual experiences that have CONVINCED me that God lives and Jesus is the Christ WITHOUT seeing them. It would be great to see them, but I DO NOT believe seeing them is a prerequisite to being saved in the celestial kingdom as you seem to claim. Seeing them is a privilege, but not a requirement to salvation.
It’s in the Doctrine and Covenants in several places. D&C 93:1, for example. The Book of Mormon has several examples of people (Lehi, Nephi, brother of Jared, Lamanites, and others) who came to the Lord, and saw Him in person.
2 Nephi 32:
5 For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.
6 Behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and there will be no more doctrine given until after he shall manifest himself unto you in the flesh. And when he shall manifest himself unto you in the flesh, the things which he shall say unto you shall ye observe to do.
This is Christ telling YOU what to do after He manifests Himself to YOU in the flesh (not in the afterlife, not in the spirit world, not in some future judgment day – in other words, you are in your flesh when you see Him).
So, if only a handful of people know this, it is because they do not search the scriptures that are readily available to most people who live on this planet. God has not spoken in secret. This information is available to millions and millions (and even billions) of people, if they would only open their eyes to see, open their ears to hear, and open their minds to understand.
Joseph Smith’s example of seeing the Father and the Son was an example for us to follow. It was never intended that only a select elite few ever have an absolute knowledge (“I know He lives because I have seen Him and touched Him,” type of thing) of them.
The D&C plainly says that Moses sought for his people to see the face of God (being brought into His “rest” is another way of wording it), but they would not have anything to do with it. It appears that we, as a people, are doing the same thing Moses’ people did.
D&C 84:
18 And the Lord confirmed a priesthood also upon Aaron and his seed, throughout all their generations, which priesthood also continueth and abideth forever with the priesthood which is after the holiest order of God.
19 And this greater priesthood administereth the gospel and holdeth the key of the mysteries of the kingdom, even the key of the knowledge of God.
20 Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, the power of godliness is manifest.
21 And without the ordinances thereof, and the authority of the priesthood, the power of godliness is not manifest unto men in the flesh;

I disagree with the idea that it is a requirement to meet Christ face to face in this life to obtain salvation in the next. I would gladly accept this as truth if it were not for the evidence that is provided against such a belief. Joseph Smith said,
“When you climb up a ladder, you must begin at the bottom, and ascend step by step, until you arrive at the top; and so it is with the principles of the Gospel—you must begin with the first, and go on until you learn all of the principles of exaltation. But it will be a great while after you have passed through the veil before you will have learned them. It is not all to be comprehended in this world; it will be a great work to learn our salvation and exaltation even beyond the grave.”
Did you catch that last part? “It will be a great work to learn our salvation and exaltation EVEN beyond the grave.” This partially affirms the importance of the role that the spirit world plays in the Plan of Salvation.
Next, I don’t know of any verse in the scriptures that will EXPLICITLY say that we must meet Christ in this life to be saved. If this was the deciding factor of a man’s salvation then God would make that quite clear in the scriptures. There is no doubt that this is the goal that I want to pursue and that every saint should, but it is not a requirement for salvation. Yes, there are many scriptures that say we should pursue this goal, but, if you look closely at them, you will realize that they won’t ever say that our salvation is predicated upon actually obtaining the goal.
In 3 Nephi 11-14 we find the basic commandments we must adhere to for salvation. As Christ himself said, “Behold, ye have heard the things which I taught before I ascended to my Father; therefore, whoso remembereth these sayings of mine and doeth them, him will I raise up at the last day” (3 Nephi 15:1). And so, I find it interesting and reassuring that nowhere in these four chapters does it say that we must meet Christ in this life, or “come into his rest,” or commune with Him “face to face.” It isn’t even hinted towards. If what Christ taught concerning these chapters is true then we can conclude that it is not a requirement to meet our Lord and Savior while in this life to be saved.
At this point, I think we can take a look at spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts aren’t “super powers” like some might think. Spiritual gifts are exactly what they are: gifts. “For all have not every gift given unto them; for there are many gifts, and to every man is given a gift by the Spirit of God. To some is given one, and to some is given another, that all may be profited thereby” (D&C 46:11-12). The next two verses I find to be very interesting: “To some it is given by the Holy Ghost to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he was crucified for the sins of the world. To others it is given to believe on their words, that they also might have eternal life if they continue faithful” (D&C 46:13-14). To some it is given to know Jesus Christ. To others it is given to believe the words of those who know Him so that they might have eternal life.
Lastly, let’s look at what the scriptures can further offer concerning this topic. First, God is clear in his instruction and he could not have been more clear through the words of Alma as to what the purpose of this life is: “For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors” (Alma 34:32). He didn’t say that the purpose of this life was to meet God but to “prepare to meet God.” I take this verse very seriously. The book of Alma, in my opinion, is the leading authority in the Book of Mormon concerning the Plan of Salvation, Alma being the chief officiator thereof (See Alma 40-42. Also see Alma 18 and 22).
Second, I find Ether 3:15 to be very revealing concerning this matter: “And never have I [Jesus Christ] showed myself unto man whom I have created, for never has man believed in me as thou has. Seest thou that ye are created after mine own image? Yea, even all men were created in the beginning after mine own image.” In speaking unto the Brother of Jared face to face, Christ claims that no man had ever communed with Him before in the flesh. That means that if meeting Christ in this life is a requirement for salvation then the entire human race between Adam and the Brother of Jared DID NOT obtain salvation! More than 99% of the earth would be damned if this was God’s plan. I don’t think God would create such a plan.
This is how I see it. I believe in and desire to receive the Second Comforter. I am striving to do so. However, what I have striven to objectively study from the scriptures and church history continues to reassure me that this amazing blessing from our God is not a requirement for salvation, but a blessing and a gift for those who seek it and are worthy of it. May the Lord teach me otherwise if I am wrong!
Thanks. I too have read your testimony more than once. A little more than a year ago I experienced something I didn’t know how to describe other than being filled with the love of God. Since then, I have wanted everyone to be able to feel that… a knowledge? of Gods love for me and every. single. person. It was months before my feet touched the ground and I have been ‘consumed’, for the lack of a better term, with coming to Christ. Not seeking Him only, but finding Him. My love for Him has grown beyond my comprehension and I have found myself in a spiritual ‘place’ I’ve never been before. The processes I’ve read online by you, Elias Returns and Jim Malone has helped me to better focus, and relize I’m not alone in this. I have not read any of Denver’s books for the moment, but from what I have read, of those mentioned above, fits my experiences so far.
Replying to Fusion:
Before Joseph Smith had his first vision he clearly did not hold the higher priesthood or any priesthood for that matter, yet he saw the face of God and His Son. So either your interpretation of D&C 84:19-22 is mistaken or Joseph was somehow endowed with the higher priesthood before the Father and Son appeared to him. Either way it appears possible for Daniel and others to have had a personal visit from the Savior even if the priesthood that was lost has not yet been restored.
Now whether people such as Daniel and others have actually received such a visit as they have testified remains for each of us to determine for ourselves by a witness of the Spirit, as some of those who have posted here have done. Daniel’s admonition to not rely on him for anything, but rather to rely on Jesus Christ is good advice that we should all heed.

Also you might at least once mention, for those who might not know, that TPJS stands for Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith compiled by Joseph Fielding Smith. References to your other two quotes by Joseph Smith could also appropriately be added for those of us who like to confirm those kinds of things.

You do reference every quote except those two attributed to Joseph Smith. If you would like to include those two missing references, I’ve found them for you. The “Mormonism is truth” quotation comes from Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith, page 264, and the “If you do not accuse” quotation comes from Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, page 193.

Possible translation
The above events can happen in any order that the Lord chooses them to happen. These could be even years apart from each other. Testimony gets one through the temple where promises of becoming converted are made. The events of conversion take place as the blessings of the promises made in the temple become realty in this life. When we are washed and are promised to become clean in the initiatory session of the temple it becomes fulfilled when the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost make those promises reality in this life. “And by the Spirit ye are purified.” Thus the Holy Ghost becomes a “purifier.” And thus we are made pure by fire, an interesting play on words. Now to let us speak of the Holy Priesthood of God. We have a man confer it upon us but we, when we become truly converted, receive the fulness of the Priesthood from Christ Himself by His own voice. Testimony alone will not save us. Those members of the church who only have a testimony, (the lesser portion of the word) who do not become converted, (i.e. those who harden their hearts) will fall away. These are the future tares and the unwise virgins. Elder Bednar’s comparison of the Ten Virgins wherein he states that the lamps represent testimony and the oil in the lamps represents conversion is wonderfully true.
The events of testimony are designed to inspire us and lead us to the events of conversion. God does not want us just to have a testimony that could be denied when trials and tribulations come. For the winds will blow and the rains will descend and beat upon our house as the Savior said and if we only have a testimony built upon sand (the lessor portion of the word) we will not stand. But sand can become stone. Through the forces of nature sand must be pressed together with tremendous pressure and become chemically changed in order to solidify into sold rock. So must our testimonies pass through the spiritual processes of trials and obedience and with divine help surmount the summits of doubt and unbelief to produce a soul that is truly converted, truly changed within, truly built upon a foundation of sold rock which is Jesus Christ. This foundation of rock is knowledge that He lives and that we, because of Him, know that we are blessed with the events of conversion in our lives and that when the trials and tribulations descend upon us and all others, that we will not stumble and fall but stand, standing firm in the knowledge that only comes through the process of true conversion to Christ, the Lord. May we all become converted and so blessed by Him who mighty to save, in Jesus’ name, amen.
One thing I have wondered for a while is how important using the True Order of Prayer has been for those who have been able to pierce the veil. Does heaven respond if you don’t use this method of prayer? It used to be approved by the Church to conduct such prayers outside of the temple (Parley Pratt’s autobiography even references the prayer alter in his home), but all that was “officially” ended by Pres. Kimball. My first temple experience was post 1990, so I’ve never seen how it was done previously to the changes implemented that year. Is that also an impediment (i.e. does heaven recognize those 1990 changes as valid)? If you can’t post an answer to this online, could you respond via email?

I feel the need to add my testimony here that I know the things Dan has shared are true. I have heard him relate these things in person numerous times and have felt the Holy Ghost confirm the truthfulness and significance of his experiences time and time again.
I also have had too many spiritual experiences and blessings poured out upon me and my family since embarking on this journey of receiving Christ to turn back and doubt the truthfulness of what Dan has shared here.
I know the heavens are not sealed. Angels have been present in my own life as I strive to seek my Lord . Dan’s account is a witness to what the Prophet Joseph Smith shared here: “For where faith is, there will the knowledge of God be, also, with all things which pertain thereto: revelations, visions, and dreams, as well as every other necessary thing, so the possessors of faith may be perfected and obtain salvation”. (7th lecture on faith)
I know that our Savior continues to minister to His saints today just like in ancient times. His promise that He will come to us is real. God is no respector or persons.
” And he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female..”
2 Nephi 26:33
I know without any doubt that the Savior did come to Dan just like he promised he would in the scriptures::
“Wherefore, I now send upon you another Comforter, even upon you my friends, that it may abide in your hearts, even the Holy Spirit of promise; which other Comforter is the same that I promised unto my disciples, as is recorded in the testimony of John.
This Comforter is the promise which I give unto you of eternal life, even the glory of the celestial kingdom”. D&C 88:3
Dan was commanded to share these thing with us. It is up to each person is to find out from the Lord what it is he or she is to learn from Dan’s account and witness to help them on their journey to getting to know their Lord face to face.
As a church we are under condemnation. We have strayed from the faith the Lord was trying to restore through the prophet Joseph Smith. Gentiles in the Book of Mormon are referring to us the latter day saints. Unfortunately all is not well in Zion. We need to repent and turn unto the Lord. Relying solely upon others including leaders for our salvation will not save us. “Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm”. 2 Nephi 4:34
We need to each seek our connection to Heaven because “the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there..” 2 Nephi 9:41
I’m very grateful that Dan felt to share his witness and for the gift I’ve had to believe.”To others it is given to believe on their words, that they also might have eternal life if they continue faithful”. D&C46:14 His testimony has strengthened my faith tremendously.” Our Savior and Father live! Glory be unto them forever and ever.
I appreciate your courage and testimony and the comments that have been made. Might I suggest that those who don’t think that this can happen take a different look at what we are taught. Do we have to wait to see Christ until the Battle of Armageddon? If so that might be a while and why would you have to wait. Consider a good study of Armageddon and Gog and Magog maybe their is a personal type symbolism there to discover. Maybe the real battle is within your own heart and when you can end that battle Christ will appear to you as a thief in the night and you can have your own personal witness and not have to wait. Look up Gog and Magog in TPJS. Dan is right you will not be perfect when he appears and you will not be perfect after and in some ways proving becomes harder but because of your witness it is easier to accept. I give no refrences but leave it to you to study and pray about and discover on your own.

Keep following the knowledge you’ve gained–that incredible, personal, inwardly communicated knowledge of Who & What God is. God IS love. God IS good! Even though you’ve felt consumed, this is not the pinnacle of what lies before you. Keep seeking. Keep listening. Keep loving. And you will find Jesus in very reality.
You now posses something rare and wonderful–and you KNOW the difference between light & darkness. Let Him shine in you, and follow His directions in all things. Search the scriptures diligently. Devour them. Make them part of you. Make them as familiar as a favorite old movie you’ve seen a hundred times.

If everything you listed is truly necessary for a person to see God, then Joseph Smith was the biggest charlatan of them all. And if that’s true, that invalidates the D&C passages you quoted. So it seems logical that your understanding of those passages must be incomplete. If God really does require a temple in order to reveal Himself to any person, then we also have a LOT of scripture that has problems; namely the major visions of Moses, Mahonri Moriancumur, and Joseph Smith, for starters. Oh, and Nephi. God can reveal Himself whenever and to whomever He wishes. It is only mercy that keeps Him from revealing Himself to those of us (myself included) who are as yet unprepared.
Rest assured: there is a different meaning to those passages than the one you currently are chewing over.
ALVIN SMITH is an heir to the Celestial Kingdom of God. “All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God.” (D&C 137:7.)
Why would the Founding Fathers demand their temple work be done? Temple work established through a prophet of God under the direction of the Lord. Ordinances required for qualification for entrance into the Kingdom of God. An outward sign of an inner commitment.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they SHALL SEE GOD. Many pure in heart have died without having seen in person God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ in the flesh. But God, who knows their pure hearts and intentions just as Alvin Smith’s will accept them according to their righteous desires and after their work has been done for them. That’s why we can look forward to the Millennium to finish the work day and night in the temples. To complete the Lord’s work for “mine house is a house of order”.
I have seen this so many times before. The “Guru Syndrome”. So subtle as a serpent, so appealing, so “forget the mortal men who lead the Church, you don’t need them anymore, you’ve moved beyond them, come out here where I can show you more.”
I know there’s some part of you that senses this deception and screams for you to run.
Please brothers and sisters, read ALL of D&C 124 and other chapters cited concerning the temple and priesthood. The Lord wouldn’t ordain prophets to lead, teach, guide, restore, verify, testify whom the Lord WILL NOT permit to lead us astray so that we can tell them in a sense, “I’ve advanced past your authority/suggestions/counsel/warnings.”
The Guru comes along with his/her testimony of Calling and Election and then what happens next? They tell you to stop trusting in the counsel/guidance of the leaders of the Church and to go over their heads seeking Christ because they are “only mere mortals”. The same prophet who is chosen and ordained to SPEAK FOR THE LORD as if it were from His own mouth.
Satan did the same thing in pre-earth life. He challenged Heavenly Father’s authority. Satan wanted your allegiance as the reigning authority. He wanted Father’s power and throne. Now Satan uses Gurus to get you to ignore Priesthood authority and follow them and yes, he will use a little bit of truth which is that Jesus is the Christ if it means getting you to doubt and rebel against the General Authorities and question their counsel. The Lord will not allow the prophet to lead us astray as a Church, and as His Kingdom established upon the earth with all the saving ordinances necessary to qualify you to enter the Kingdom of God.
Everyone will be given the chance to accept or reject the Gospel.
Your eternal salvation does NOT depend on Calling and Election while still in your mortal body. Your eternal salvation depends upon the pureness of your heart and your willingness to REPENT, accept Jesus Christ, His Gospel, His Scriptures, His Prophets, His Church, His saving ordinances, as He has prescribed.
No bother replying Daniel. I’ve taken on so many like you and, hopefully, have helped others not go down the road of apostasy.
Why the need to take someone on? If you come with truth, present it and it should stand on its own. What I sense coming from this comment G.D is fear. Fear from you (perhaps you are afraid He did in fact ask Dan to post this blog and that there really are dearly held false traditions you need to cast aside) and fear as a means to influence the author and readers of this blog. The notion that the thinking has been done and that we can be collectively saved by remaining mainstream in an institution hearkens back to a guarantee that was presented and rejected in a pre-mortal council long ago. There is a source to whom you can turn who will “cast out all fear”. Seek Him. We can INDIVIDUALLY work out our salvation with “fear and trembling” before Him. That seems to me to be the message and invitation of the blog.

We believe all things, we hope all things. The Holy Ghost descended upon me in great measure this evening (It’s actually 2:15 a.m.). Daniel’s witness of Christ is true. I know it independent of him or any other person. Most important than his experience (since Daniel has been redeemed from the Fall), is that we can have this become a living, breathing reality for all of us that rend the veil of unbelief (as well) which doth cause us to remain in our awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind. Notice that it is us that must rend the veil. (See Ether 4:13-16). When we do, the great and marvelous things which have been hid up shall be unfolded in the eyes of ALL the people (including us). Glory, and honor, and power and might, Be ascribed to our God; for he is full of mercy, Justice, grace and truth, and peace, Forever and ever, Amen.
As I read about personal experiences with God and Jesus Christ I can’t ignore the impressions that come to me, which are: 1. God and Jesus Christ are real; 2. They are waiting to minister to us PERSONALLY; 3. There is an open invitation for all mankind to seek the face of the Lord. Why should we NOT believe testimonies of Jesus’ ministering to people? Why should we NOT believe that He will comfort us? My desire to seek more and learn more is only strengthened. I just came across your Testimony recently among several others. I, like many who have posted above am in this process. As part of your testimony you state: “This is how in 2012, I found myself pleading for true messengers. That prayer led me to a book called The Second Comforter: Conversing with the Lord Through the Veil by Denver C. Snuffer Jr. I recognized The Second Comforter as a manual. I saw in it many experiences that I had already gone through. It was like a map. From reading it I saw where I had been on the path, where I was, and what else I could expect to experience. It was then a simple matter of pondering, identifying, and working on the areas I had identified.” My question is, what prompted you to plead for “True Messengers”? I was lead to Denver’s work after months of praying to know if anyone had seen Angels or the Savior in our day. But I am intrigued by why you sought “True Messengers”. Could you please elaborate on this? BTW – Thank you for sharing. I believe every word.
The simple answer was that it was the result of realizing that “all is not well in Zion”. Religion is my hobby. I love learning about all sorts of religious ideas. After my mission I read up on all sorts of religions especially the LDS Church and Mormonism. I started noticing that things just didn’t seem to fit the way the manuals taught. Fruits were missing. There was a lot of ugliness in our history. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was starting to figure out that there were beliefs I had that weren’t true — that the traditional narrative was incorrect. Starting in 2009, I spent time evaluating my political beliefs compared to the scriptures. From there I looked at what we taught on Sunday compared to what the Book of Mormon taught. There was a lot of conflicting doctrines. I was left confused because I had prior spiritual confirmations but I had learned some of the truths about our history and doctrine that didn’t seem to fit. I lacked wisdom.
You are a person after my own heart. I’m now where you were at in 2009. I’m so happy for your Testimony and others like yours. Knowing the Lord is working individually among the LDS is thrilling to my soul! I am more committed than ever now that I can see a clear path and process. I’ve been praying for some time to know if there was a “process”. The Lord has answered my prayers. Thanks again.
I’m with you, Mike. Maybe even a little behind. I was caught off guard by my beliefs not totally matching up, and I was hit with a real faith crisis where I questioned everything. Now I’m stuck where I think I feel what I believe deep down, but my brain gets in the way…does this make sense? How do I shut my brain off and feel again?

This account, and those that align themselves with it, make me quite nervous. I agree with GD that something is not right here. There is a lot of truth in Dan’s words but I also feel that there is error. This “handbook” that changed Dan’s life was written by someone who would later be excommunicated for apostasy. This is the first step on a slippery slope.
Christ is our Savior. His church has been restored. There is a prophet that speaks for Him in our day. Do everything you can to be more like the Savior and to accept his Atonement in your life but don’t lose respect for those that He has called to guide His church or administer the ordinances of His Gospel. Beware of the philosophies of men, mingled with scripture.

Have you ever read about Helmuth Hübener? He was an LDS youth in Germany in early 1940s who resisted the Nazi Party. He, along with several other church members, were excommunicated from the LDS church for not supporting the Nazis. He was also subsequently executed by the Nazis, beheaded. About a decade later he posthumously had his blessings restored by the church.

You should be careful about automatically just assuming that if someone was excommunicated it was legitimate. When you say “There is a prophet that speaks for Him in our day,” what exactly does that mean?
To imply that Christ would or could only communicate with us lowly “nobodies” in the Church by trickling down His doctrine through the hierarchy is, in and of itself, a philosophy of men – and a very Catholic one, too, the idea that we can only approach deity through approved men.
It has nothing to do with disrespecting Church leaders when we take Christ up on His universal invitation to have a PERSONAL relationship with Him. He said, “Come unto Me”, not “come unto My prophet”.
The only reason it makes anyone nervous that the Lord has been working outside of our expectations of how He *should* work, is because we’ve built up our expectations on false ideas. The admonition to “Follow the Prophet” should rightly be rendered, “Follow the Prophet as he follows Christ”, because they don’t always have ALL the truth, being part of the “all” who fall prey to error and fall short of the glory of God.
Spiritual growth is a line-upon-line process that every Church leader goes through just the same as every “lay” member. Prophets may have received many more lines than the rest of us, but we must cease in our persistent assumptions that they walk around in a constant stream of revelation every second of every day. Even Brigham Young admitted to never having met the Savior in person.
To put the following of any Prophet as more important than following Christ Himself is nothing short of idolatry, and unfortunately, a good many members of our Church are unwittingly guilty of this.
Thanks Dan I believe your testimony and genuinely appreciate your posting it. I come back and review it from time to time and it helps center me, as I struggle to become meek and teachable in seeking the Second Comforter.
Andi Angel I like your thoughts about the prophet and fallibility. For me it’s helpful to distinguish between doctrine and policy. I informally think of it this way:
Doctrines: the absolutes—e.g. the doctrine of Christ. Doctrine never changes; I look at it as the ‘whats’, or the no kidding requirements of what we need to do to gain exaltation.
Policy: the ‘hows’ that support the ‘whats’—the means of running the church. I believe the Lord doesn’t always care so much *how* we follow the ‘whats’ (e.g., D&C 58, let them bring their families to this land *as they counsel between themselves* and me). Policy also may be informed by mortal men’s understanding. Since the Lord does govern the church by mortal men, some biases are inevitable (I’m thinking of the church’s posting about race and priesthood and the role Brigham Young played in denying blacks the priesthood).
I believe questioning the prophet makes people uncomfortable when policy becomes confused with doctrine.
I agree with GD in that the single verse 24 should be taken in context. Otherwise, the logical conclusion to this line of thought is the church has been in general apostasy since Joseph Smith. This doesn’t ring true to me- but I can accept some blessings related to seeing the face of God (like the children of Israel) are being withheld due to unbelief.
Separating the prophet’s roles may also help. A major aspect of the prophet’s role is organizational—if the time comes to move to Jackson county MO or whatever, would the Lord individually inspire each person? No, His house is a house of order. Individually, I’ve always had the idea the prophet helps us in our efforts to come to Christ with the experience and inspiration at his disposal, not that he’s supposed to be an intermediary of some sort.
There is an Elias (John) that will come to set in order the house of God and to come and restore all things. D&C 77:9,14; 85:7-8.
In 77:9 the Lord says “And, if you will receive it this is Elias which was to come to gather the tribes of Israel and restore all things.” Why does he say “if you will receive it” if there will not be some confusion or opposition to this man?
Remember that in the days of judgement the lord will clean up his own house first D&C 112:24-25. While the Lord’s house is a house of order it appears that this order will have to be restored creating confusion among a lot of the saints who have put their trust in man or made flesh their arm.
Daniel, it’s such a journey and I believe if one is willing, The Lord allows “bread crumbs” along the journey, like puzzle pieces, and they come together when we are ready and the picture becomes more clearer and more complete, I have experienced such a journey, starting with growing up with hypocrisy in high places in my ward and stake, that led me to believe that all is not as I would like to believe about those in authority-that we should not put our trust in the arm of flesh as we are told, and so it goes, as we truly pray, seek, and ask, we are given more to our understanding of how God deals with His people- I too was led to Denver’s book as I was striving to know all I could do to live a better life and to “step up” my spirituality. Interesting how prayers are answered sometimes in ways we least expect, and can be difficult for others to believe. This is the path it is true, The Lord will grant you what you ask. Thank you Dan for being so bold and sharing your experience, it gives me hope that I too may find myself able to part the veil and have the same experience as the Brother of Jared–I’m on the journey…
Moroni 9:9 says that raped women are no longer chaste or virtuous. Mormons consider rape victims as chewed up gum and licked cupcakes.
My Dear Brother Russell:
If there is a principle that comes out of Daniel’s or Denver’s mouth (or anyone else for that matter) witnessed as truth by the Light of Christ within or by the power of the Holy Ghost to the human soul, then I get to adopt that specific item of truth, without condemning the whole. (Think of reading the newspaper or anything on the internet. If we find one thing that is untrue, do we altogether stop reading? No. We discard it and move on). It’s all about our intent. We are seeking for that which is true, not that which is untrue. “And now, my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also be judged.” Book of Mormon, Moroni 7).
So the ultimate responsibility for knowing truth rests with us each individually, a solemn and sobering realization indeed.
My main point is this. Truth is truth, regardless if it even comes from a professed infidel. Brigham Young had this to say: “It is our duty and calling, as ministers of the same salvation and Gospel, to gather every item of truth and reject every error. Whether a truth be found with professed infidels, or with the Universalists, or the Church of Rome, or the Methodists, the Church of England, the Presbyterians, the Baptists, the Quakers, the Shakers, or any other of the various and numerous different sects and parties, all of whom have more or less truth, it is the business of the Elders of this Church (Jesus, their Elder Brother, being at their head) to gather up all the truths in the world pertaining to life and salvation, to the Gospel we preach, … to the sciences, and to philosophy, wherever it may be found in every nation, kindred, tongue, and people and bring it to Zion (DBY, 248). Our duty then is to seek, obtain and maintain the companionship of the Holy Ghost so that we may know whatever portion of truth is witnessed to us when we hear it, be it from a professed infidel (or even one who has been excommunicated).
The other point I would make is this. If I believe a false witness and the resultant fruit of that false witness actually brings me nearer to Christ, wherein have I been wronged? We believe ALL things, we hope ALL things. “For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.” (Book of Mormon, Moroni 7)

Dear Brother Dan,
I have found you. Last night, in the visions of the night dream, I had an encounter with you. I went thru Ephraim by Jordan until I reached Damascus. Whether these locations are in Zion or in Jerusalem, I cannot tell. I was running errands for the Lord, delivering food to the saints from the bishop storehouse. Before your house, I went to the relief society president house. It appears I was driving a full size but tall and skinny van. When I entered your house, you were shivering and coughing, sitting by the dinner table on an armless chair and with a short blanket or covering on your shoulders. I immediately asked you if you were sick and you said yes, it appears that you were coming out of a cold that was refusing to let you go. I asked you if you needed a blessing and you immediately told me yes. I asked if a regular blessing or an anointing one. You said with oil, then you reached thru your vial, but I restrained you and told you that I had bought mine. I was surprised that you were an elder or had knowledge of anointing blessing because when I first knew you, you were not even a member of the church. All this time we were alone. As I prepared the anointing, you were conversing with me and told me that you had been sick since November 20th and waiting for me or for some one else. Then I anointed your bald head with much oil that it dripped down your forehead, as when we are at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. I pronounced the anointing blessing a little different than what we normally do it, or as we do it in the temple, only under proper authority in the name of Jesus Christ. The sealing part, was done under the normal priesthood authority, as when we give healing blessings. I rebuked whatever disease you had, and remember that I specifically blessed your family thru you, my eye were open during this part of the blessing, and I noticed that the room of your humble room was a bit crowded with your family. I perceived your wife and children with their eyes watered in solemnity by the words of the blessing. And I continued the blessing gazing long and dormant at the horizon as if I was singing a lovely song. When I came to my senses that I was giving you a blessing, I perceived your thoughts saying, I have waited for thy salvation oh Lord, then I replied yes, I also bless the dead withing you. As I finished, the blessing, for we were face to face, I heard great thunder and as I looked up to heaven, there was no roof for I saw the stars, and it was dark, suddenly, I saw great clouds of darkness hoovering above us ready to explode into a tempestuous storm. And there was excessive lightning, even great many veins of rumbling lighting condensing into a pillar of light some distance away, by mountains or hills. Everyone was looking at me as if I were some form of mighty prophet that invoked the powers of heaven and caused the storm to gather. I knew that it was the power of God at work. Then it begun to rain heavily, and not being able to divert the attention of people towards me, I feigned being afraid of lightning and saw you no more, then I went to look for cover, drove down the bus or van I had come from in, which wheel was taller than me, and returned to my family at a church event of some sort. And when I had located them, the dream ended. It was about 5:39 this morning.
Then, in my first morning prayer, I prayed for Dan, my fiend, who lives in Damascus, who has is not, to my knowledge a member of our church. I always pray for the house of Israel every where. I seek for them with great compassion and diligence as if there is no tomorrow. For I am commanded to bless all the children of Israel wherever they may be found, even the outcast of Israel and the dispersed of Judah. Therefore, I follow every clue, every foot print, open every door and lift every stone until I find them. This morning, after my morning errands,,trying to dig into the matter, I went to the scriptures to search all I could about Dan, the prince, son of Jacob, his patriarchal blessing to find out who is the Dan Shea I anointed and blessed. And I have been searching until I found you.
When I read your marvelous testimony above and felt the peace of all your responders, I noticed that some of them called you Dan, even though, I think, you never mentioned your name in the testimony of the second comforter. This is not a perfect knowledge, but I conclude that it was not my earthly friend who I blessed, but you. Call me crazy if you want for telling you my dream without even knowing you, but I think that this is the place to do it. I will publish it here, and try to copy my words to my own records, but you can unpublish them if you wish and if it is all rubbish to you, I will not blame you for discarding them. All I know, is that for better or for worse, my errand has been delivered, concluded, documented and registered. If by any chance you are sick today, I hope you will get better and if not, be assured my friend, that help will come soon. Beware of evil speaking against the Lord’s anointed. Try the spirits, for not all come from God. Some are of men and some are of devils. Be ye not deceived even by an angel of light. For many shall come in my name. By their fruits ye shall know them. A true prophet prophesies and the thing comes to pass. A true apostle testifies and stands by his God at all peril. And in most cases his testimony is rejected, he is scorned, marred and numbered with the infirm and with the transgressors and indicted on false charges and pretences, but God never abandons him. If they hated and persecuted his master, his followers will be hated and persecuted also.
And now when the wind bloweth out of the south you say, there comes a shower, and so it is, ye hypocrites, ye know how to discern the sky, but you know not how to discern this time. Zion and Jerusalem December 9th 2014
The charred part of a candle wick is nothing more than a smoking flax. A registered memoir of the events of this day.
My job is not easy. I need a small break. It’s a dirty job, but somebody has to do it. I am sombedy that does the work that nobody wants to do such as internal affairs or the in-house dirty laundry, wolf hunting and playing the hoolah hoo like live bait to catch a bad guy or making a fool out of myself to.beat evil branches at their own game.
Every time I am given a top secret assignment, I am thrown into the pit on an uncharted scape plan on a need to know basis. I have changed identities too many times that I even forget who I am. I am sent like sheep in the midst of wolves with a lion mentality. It is hard to hunt those that sniff and snuff at you like a hearty meal.
Have you heard of the phrase shoot first and aim later?
It is an easy thing for a sharp shooter to aim first and then to shoot his mark.
I am bored, so I exercise faith first, then shoot, then take a nap, watch a spirit offending movie, eat some sacramentak bread, drink some sacramental wine, as a drunkard of Ephraim, I do my errands half spiritually drunk, and then before I become sober, if needs be I sacrifice or repent, go to hell, do the time, work to pay the fine, check with my master to see if I can have my old job back, and if he has, I wait for the man to die, then ask if there is another in line before me, if not, I am immediately hired back, and remeber the shot I took when I cut off rahab, and Lucifer fell as lightning from heaven.
When I wake up from the druzz and get all fricked out by the waste and.wear, I put my index finger in my mouth, lift it to the check the direction of the wind. And if there is no rain, I take a swift flight to search for my intended target and call the wayward arrow to hit it right in the bulls eye. At times, the smart arrow keeps going, and going like the energizer bunny that I kill two or more birds with one single shot, proverbially and procedurely speaking.
Sometimes in my folly I have shot myself because I am not a respecter of persons, nor do I allow my own fears or prejudices or familiar affinities to interfere with my heavenly commission and my divinely assigned work.
I come from a line of decent, a branch or two of the house of Israel .At times, very wicked men that have ruled harshly and and wickedly their people. They have taken and usurped secular governments in bloodless and in bloody rebellions and in coupe de etats. If you have heard of the Tinocos and the Zomozas, you have heard of me.
IF I were to look at me, as look more stout than Eden Pastora and Fidel Castro on their worst days put together. There is no room on solid ground to number the souls that as a mighty querubin with a flaming sword, that under the direction of heaven and the permission of death, I have dispatched to the spirit worlds. My favorite meal is the sacrifice of rebellious and apostate souls leaving them neither root or branch. There is no point in having an unsheated sword, if you don’t intend to use it.
Few and counted have been the shining lights in the midsts of my rachitic family line. But when in righteousness, they have been notable in their deeds. One of them was viceroy of Egypt, and another one was the saviour of the world, also the last and the first of Spain chief political governors in the central American province of Honduras. AND another one was my grandpa who came from a much bitter yet humble branch of the malkiyahu tree. He was a presidential night guard in the bottomless pit, that is my home country, another name for Honduras. I am the angel that ascends from the east or the bottomless Pit, in whom there is laid much power and to whom by right and lineage belong the priesthood and the keys of the kingdom of God on earth.
I am a direct descendant, partially from the house of Joseph and from the house or root of Jesse, thru Mulek, the surviving son of Zedekiah, king of Judah, who was brought for a wise purpose whose wisdom thereof, reminds with God.
And in one occasion, my Grandpa, a mestizo like me, armed and dangerous, spoted a man jumping the presidential house wall to visit a maid or concubine of his in the heat of the night. Grandpa arrested the fine looking young man on the grounds of breaking and entering and for immoral or unbecoming behavior or conduct. The man pleaded and insisted that he was the president. My grandpa, a poor and unknown, dark and shadowy indigenous man, as the history noted, did not know it, but in any case he may have told him, yeah right, I am the only living hair to the throne of king king David and a rightful would be heir to the throne of Israel with the Lord of Lords and the king of kings, even my Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, the son of the living God.
In any case, the president of Honduras, spent the night behind bars in the bartoline. By morning dew, the captain of the guards hastened and rebuked my Grandpa, calling him by name and saying: Tinoco, you are in serious trouble for what you did last night.
Confident, as a poorly dressed dragon slayer knight, he told him. My captain, I was just doing my job. He then.was.escorted to the barracks to open the jail gate. You want to know how I can do this and not miss my target? Because choice seer is my name, and the man with the ax my surname. I am not the shooter, just the arrow in the archer’s hand, a polished shaft in his quiver or an instrument in the hands of God, from heaven shoot out.
IT is not my work, it is not my authority, nor my power, nor my will but the will of him who sent me. I learned my trade from a master wolf hunter. I was personally instructed by God the Father and the Lord Jesus Chirst until I was spoused with the principles they taught me as much as I am one with my one and only eternal wife. And he, my father, he knows the end from the beginning. They hired me and trained me to do their bidding, but only on special jobs when my particular skills are warranted, for I judge not by what my eyes see.and by my ears hear, but in righteousness. I have a PRENTIVE verdict from the highest council of heaven against a the charred part of a candle wick put out. That is, Denver Snuffer. And a severing warning to each and all his purported followers. This verdict, is complete in harmony with the verdict of his excommunication but which differs in nature.
If Denver Snuffer thinks that he is the one mighty and strong, my answer to him is, get thee behind me Satan for I am fisrt in war.
Denver Snuffer made a sacred and solemn covenant with God and before angels and these witnesses. And God will not be.mocked. FIRST, he broke the covenant of the Holy Priesthood that cannot be violated or moved under severe and irrevocable penalties which state:
“For whoso is faithful unto the obtaining these two priesthoods of which I have spoken, and the magnifying their calling, are sanctified by the Spirit unto the renewing of their bodies.
They become the sons of Moses and of Aaron and the seed of Abraham, and the church and kingdom, and the elect of God.
And also all they who receive this priesthood receive me, saith the Lord; For he that receiveth my servants receiveth me;
And he that receiveth me receiveth my Father;
And he that receiveth my Father receiveth my Father’s kingdom; therefore all that my Father hath shall be given unto him.
And this is according to the oath and covenant which belongeth to the priesthood.
Therefore, all those who receive the priesthood, receive this oath and covenant of my Father, which he cannot break, neither can it be moved.
But whoso breaketh this covenant after he hath received it, and altogether turneth therefrom, shall not have forgiveness of sins in this world nor in the world to come.”

By rejecting the fullness of the priesthood and the appointed channels and stating that priesthood authority is not needed to regulate the affairs of the church and to conduct its ordinances for the salvation of the living and the dead, he has denied the Holy Ghost and therefore the truth of the faith he once professed in open rebellion and rejection to God and his duly called, appointed and authorized servants. He has therefore become a law unto himself, a lawless man and an anti-christ.
SECOND, whether he understood it, took it seriously or not, he made a solemn covenant, under penalties and obligations, before God, angels and these witnesses, out of his free will and choice, which he took, to obey the law of sacrifice, among others, and thereafter to avoid evil speaking of the Lord’s annointed; and also to consacrate, dedicate, and separate himslelf to build up the kingdom of God and for the establishment of Zion as recorded in the holy scriptures by consecrating himself, his gift and talents and his life if necessary, to sustain the kingdom of God on earth and the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And you all know that he broke them all and also lied to me, to the Holy Ghost and the holy spirit of promise.
THIRD, He was counseled to cease and desist or to.SACRIFICE his worldly pursuits, but he sold his gifts for money by using his gift for evil purposes just like unto Judas Iscariot or any other apostate anti Christ,,by publishing for profit and authority and proper justification, evil speaking material agaisnt the Lord anointed from Joseph Smith to the ptesent time. This is not a mere disagreement on misunderstanding, but blatantly rebelled. In other words he took the place of the first born, or the right of Adan which is the office of Patriarch over the whole heart which by right and leanage belongs to the oldest living spirit under heaven.
He, Denver Snuffer, instead of building faith and unity in the legally established kingdom of God under false pretences, having as cain, the perfect knowledge of greater light, as he so claims, instead of building up the kingdom of God and to establishing Zion, he has dishonored and contamitated or polluted the holy church of God by transfiguring the word of God to his own covetousness; and in so doing, he planted doubt, rebellion and dissent in the souls of many memebers and turned away dissenters of the kingdom of God. This is blatant and perhaps irremisible treason worst than that of Alma, the son of Alma and the.sons of Mosiha and their friends before their conversion.
And It would have been better for Denver Snouffer at this juncture not to have been born, or to tie a rope to his neck and to jump from a bridge than to have offended a little one and lied to the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit of Promise during his anointing to which, in the spirit, I attended thru the hands and tempk of the oficiator.
But the devil in him has been detected, and even I, Michael, was almost deceived by an angel of light who caused me serious grievousness of mind and soul before the Lord. But since my testimony is planted in the rock of eternity, that is the foundation of living apostles and prophets, true and faithful messengers of Jesus Christ, being Christ the chief corner stone, the gates of hell have tried to swallow me, but by the gift, grace and mercy of God the Father, and of his son, and of the Holy Ghost, hell hasn’t not prevailed agaist me.
And by the power of the anointing in me and in him, that is Denver Snouffer, and the authority vested in me, I strip him from the holy priesthood and his endowment; and since he has apparently committed the umpaedonable sin, by lying to me and denying the Holy Ghost, I entrust him naked to the buffettings of Satan, from now until the the Judgement of the great day or the day of redemption.
And since he is of the belief beyond authority, that no one has authority or needs the laying in of hands under proper authority to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, or any institutional authority for that matter, by the same token he is discharged and entrusted into darkness and to the bufftings of Saran, for before he is, the Lord of the whole earth says, I AM.
In other words all his blessings will implode as rain and lighting upon him and cause the exact opposite effect he hoped for and anticipated.
And to all those who.have followed Denver Snuffer, and those that have apostatized like him, and his or their apoatate claims, and have supported his iniquity after being warned and couseled not to do so, for which he was cut off from the church, must needs be to repent speedily and make ammends or face the fury of the ax man as it has been hitherto foretold. For to this end was I born, even to regulate the affairs of the church in humility and also to testify of the.divinity of Jesus Christ whose voice I have.heard and whose word I know. For he has said to me, even the least of my brethren:

For if we do not live by the law we shall die by the law as recorded in the scriptures and the law of the church which is the kingdom of God upon the earth under which no flesh is exempt before God. For without law there can be no order anytime or anywhere. And you must know also that the house of God is a house of God and not of confusion. And here lies the salvation and condemnation of man.
I have been blessed, called and anointed thru the proper channels to be a leader in the true knowledge of the affairs of the church, even to set the house of God in order if needs be. But the house of God and the church of God are two separate things. The church is the legal and I established institution of which I have no bearing or authority to meddle with. The priesthood leadership is dowing an awesome job with that.
But the house of God is the people and their works and manner of living, their adherence to law and principle and that can only be regulated by God the Father in righteousness by the cepter of power thru the channeles of the literal seed and the patriarchal priesthood or one of the patriarchal seed who by lineage and ordination has the right of Adam, to represent him and occupy the right of the first born or the office of Ix-Miquili-Pantl which translated means, Michael the Archangel. Again the office of Patriarch over the whole earth in whose person God has put all parts of his very own name, even ELUGIM or ELOHIM which is one like unto God or as the name if mplies, MIGUEL OR MICHAEL backwards and in correctly arranged and/or transliterated.
This power usually falls on the oldest living spirit under heaven or the presiding patriarch over the church which is the one and only, one mighty and strong in each generation of time and Eternity, the first of which ever is our heavenly father under whose authority I speak. And the first to occupy this office of Michael the Archangel in heaven to preside over the spirits and the human race was Adam or Michael. Then the next was Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob or Israel, Joseph all the way down and up to Joseph Smith Father, up until Joseph fielding Smith down and up to Eddy L Barillas and Morgan Bates to Me, the abominable of nations, the servant of servants, even, Miguel Angel surnamed Tinoco or Choice seer or the man with the Ax, which ever way you want to see it.

And who can dispute that I am a.walking rod that ignites when connected to the source of power. I am always angry and full of the fury and the reprehension of the Lord, like bull in a net. Dare not to try to steady with unclean hands the living ark and oracles of God from where you as priests drain power. Many have fallen swiftly, broken their neck, and been struck dead unawares. As a spirit, when the children of Isarael, rebelled agaist God and were feaeful to hear his own voice, he no longer could walk with them without destroying them, for even Moses could any longer stand or see the face of God, but only his backward parts. And as a result, as his pesonal Secretary, the Lord gave me charge as his angel to direct and watch over the children of Israel to keep them in the right way, and to bring them to all their promised lands, but with this strict charge to Moses, to obey my voice and not to provoke me to anger or to rebell against me or else the priesthood will fight back at you, which is not an easy thing to bear. As you see, my sword is the word of God under the direction of the Holy One.who is without beginning of day or end of life, for gnolaun is my name. And even though I speak much thru the word of God, no one has heard my voice in the streets, nor do I reveal anything new outside the proper channels, for I am not the Lord’s mouth piece, andb I do not trespass my bounds. Or in other, words, despite things I say, I don’t use my own mouth or voice.
As a natural patriarch in Israel, and holding by right and linage, the right of first man, or by virtue of being the oldest spirit under heaven, I preside over all the spirits in my generation in this last dispensation. For it is written that the last shall be as the first and the first as the last.
Therefore, with all due respect, Before George Washington is, I AM. In some instances, many fall, are removed or replaced and others are planted in their instead.
For no one comes to the Father of except thru the son, and no one comes to the son, except the Father gives the spirit or the verb or word of God.
And even do I hold the three orders of priesthood and am prepared to officiate in their ordinances, without which the power of Godliness is not made manifest, and the power thereof with their respective keys, independently speaking, I only have at present time right or authority to act with the authority of our father in heaven so not to interfere with the established secular or ecclesiastical authority of the church as long as they don’t interfere with mine. Because when they interfere with me, they interfere with the kingdom and order of heaven.
And I am not implying anything, for I did not call myself. It is noted in my patriarchal blessing. I both honor and magnify my calling and election in the priesthood unto the power of deliverance. I have served, wasted and wearied my life in service to all even at a young age. I have helped flood the eqeth with truth.
I have preached the gopsel of Elias, which the gospel of salvation to a great many people among the living and the dead, and before kings, governors and rulers in desguise like Abinadi and Samuel the lamanite, in public and in secret like Alma, Nephi, Jacob, King David, Amulek, Joseph Smith, Thomas S. Monson and the living Christ.
I have not taken payment, financing or glory to myself other than ocassional boasting to stir your thoughts and influence your interest for good so that you investigate my claims and search the truth for yourselves.
I never envisioned to attract any followers other than my current family and my dead ancestors. Nor have I sought a position in the church. In fact, I have burned many bridges to that end so that no one thinks of me that I am more than any other flesh.
I am EITHER cold or hot. Neither am I behind an inch of the chiefest of the apostles in words testimony and deeds, for we all work for the same end, which is to try to assist God in his work and glory of bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. I receive my commandments, and instructions by attending meetings at church and in the temples. And because I am oft mis understood, I have been called a mad or wild man that prophesies. I have suffered much contempt, scorn and rejection and even incarceration. In defense of my testimony, like Joseph of old, I have been taken with violence and against my will, to the pit by my own brethren where I have been numbered with the infirm and with the transgressors. My personal character, credibility and life has been marred beyond repair.
All have turned their back on me, including my own wife and children, I am a man with little or nothing to lose, and with great personal, temporary and spiritual necessities. But my arms have been made strong, by the hand of the almighty, who watches over me unto deliverance. I have fought like a dragon for my God entities human and animal alike from the unseen world too weird to do describe like a child in the wilderness.
You all can refer to my patriarchal blessing where it is written that I will be a blessings to a great many people and be a leader to my children and to all my ancestors. Like Abraham, I am to be taken by the hand by the Lord in the paths of righteousness and where I cannot cross, he will carry me, for I am to be given Righteousness. He has instructed and cared for me from the beginning, because Satan knows who I am, that I will prove to be a not small disrurber of his kingdom. He has tried his utmost to destroy me from the beginning without any reservations or pretensions.
Despite my weaknesses and disabilities, for I have suffered much when corrected by my own iniquity, I am am given charge to study the scriptures every day in order to teach all my children the gospel of Jesus Christ to the best of my abilities or face the wrath of God which is not an easy thing for me to endure either. And last but not least, I am on the Lord’s errand with power to write but not to speak which I must exercise as it was with Oliver Cowdery to bring hidden things unto light.
I am a dreamer like my father Joseph also. The other night, I dreamed a dream that Apostle Christopherson came to my lodging place, and he gave me a little book which appeared as a small set of silver plates. I saw the engravings, which characters and instructions I readily recognized as reforemed Egyptian. The instructions in between the sections of characters were in English or Spanish, which I could not read or decipher because I am not learned. But I took the book. And I had company with me that told that I had made a direct hit. I know I was in the spirit world among the dead that were coming in and out of my lodging place. Some of which I dispatched away because they were crowding the place and I had personal businesses to attend to. I then lost track of the book and woke up wondering what it all meant. Until it is given me the interpretation thereof, I wait.
These things I humbly record declare and record in earth and in heaven as one having authority under the proper channels, and I do it humbly and solemnly, in the presence of God, angels and these witnesses in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I have to say, you are the only one that could break me from my hypnosis from Denver Snuffer. I thank you and God for that. I am still weary from it and still must wake up from it. I feel I am in a spiritual limbo. Not to whom my allegiance is, but as to where I stand with Him.
I served my mission in Argentina, but I don’t trust my Spanish well enough that I had to cheat in translating your words. I don’t know what to make of your message. I believe you are God’s servant. Are you the servant that is prophesied of from Isaiah? I’m unsure of your role with God. But I know you’ve helped me and have been very beneficial.

I am glad, be all the glory to GOD, he is the one that got us together. Just give a little break, live today, fight another day, enjoy your family, gather your strength, but always feasting upon the word of God. One day you will break out from me or even the apostles and prophets and be planted directly on Christ and find your place In this whole thing. For i now you do play a VIP role In this too. I have seen It. Its a dirty war we are fighting. Just cannot explain it and it is more fun if you discover it yourself.
Just imagine a great battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil in the middle of the ocean, high tide, seas which you helped to stir in order to set the stage for a colossal fight. There is where only two ships can go in a maelstrom with thousands of ships far away ready for battle from both sides. But as in old days, only two ships will fight in that strait and narrow bottomless pit maelstrom contest and you are In the good shipm We are both along with many others fighting with swords and cannons, afraid but having more fun than fear. The battle is won, the enemies are defeated, and there is one big problem. The two war ships got entangled by the mast because they got to close together in the maelstrom, and they have to free each other or both will go to the bottomless pit. And then you come with an idea, and fire a cannon with two balls tied together, to break us off by hitting the tip of the mast of each ship . the shot is successful, victory Is shouted,and the enemy ship is sinks into the pit.
Having said that, we all have a part to play in heavenly Father’s plan. All wee need to be is worthy to play our part well. We are all the Lord’s toys. my part I believe is like woody’s, the cowboy character of toy story, or rodney the fix guy who never to gives up on his friends. We are all in this together.

Now this is what happened. I went to your house, before I wrote the last two scripts. You were a bit afraid or scared because I came too strong and I had told you that you would die, and you thought I would literally kill you. You tried to grab a screw driver just in case to defend yourself from me, but I grabbed It from you saying, give me that,f or I did not know what you were going to do with it. But I was merely a doctor, and the killing instrument was my pen. And the actual words I used was, this is going to hurt a little. You were on a bed and I was seating on a desk by It. And then I grabbed my pen and suddenly inserted it on your left leg. Then the dream ended. It appeared that I was going to write on your soul, because I spent a lot of royal ink on you. It was a Weird dream. But It was like an immunization or an antidote against Denver Snakes poison. Then the next day, as soon as I woke up, I read your email to which I replied. I wrote your article in which is called, out of Zion the perfection of Beauty, the Lord Shined, where I disguised everyone, you, me, the apostles, the prophet Joseph Smith and the twelve apostles as pirates. This, I did to confuse the enemy and make the message more enjoyable. Only after I had finished, a day after, I learned that Jesus and Joseph Smith had been right by my side.
As far as your questions, I only have clues. I have a patriarchal blesssing, and about seven or 9 Personal revelations that are not all that clear to me yet. I cannot talk about it, just imply it. Time will tell.
But I know I will be a leader in the affairs of the church at a young age which I have to administer with humility before God. That i will have many enemies that I will make shake and tremble like Nephi, fot they will see that I speak with the authority of our father In heaven, that the devil will do his utmost to kill me, that I will work in many temples, that I will bless many handicapped, that I will show the way to a great many people, that I must write, that I will lead my family, all my ancestors, my children. That I will travel and testify of the divinity of Jesus Christ, and thread in holy places, be honored and in humility by multitudes, and that I will be given righteousness, and when I die, the whole house of israel will surround me and shout praises and great hossanas of welcome.
So far, I am hated by many and I feel like Nephi when he was about to build the boat and got sad because his bretheren refuse to help him and thought he had no judgement, or that he was crazy like father Lehi.
I am poor lamanite, with little or no formal education. I learned English by the scriptures. I am disdisabled, for partial physical and paertial mental iinfirmities because I worked myself nearly to death. All I have is a generous spirit, and a fine mind and body to serve God. For the world I am no good. My brethren cast me into the pit thrice, for saying that I heare the voice of God and preaching hell fire. I then ended up in jail for about a month for a purported crime that I did not commit, but even if had, I would have been released in just three days. I have never been convicted of any crime that I know of, but my moral character, my reoutation and credibility has been marred as a result that I struggle to make ends meet and survive.
If only I could tell you of my conversion and the fights that I am going through. I can only depend on God at this time. I am happy, the grace and peace of God sustains me day by day, but I don’t smile much for the spirit of God keeps me angry, like bull in a net.
I cannot say much about myself but a whole lot about God. I preach from morning to eve. I have about 9 Blogs in 2 languages and about 500 published articles of about 20 illustrated pages each. I don’t think I don’t plan what to say, it is given to me the very hour. And the difference with other bloggers is that it is free and I do it all in the name of Jesus Christ. So my words are binding upon my soul and the souls to whom it is addressed whether they read them or not. Then, comes wrath upon the people. In other words I shoot to make a kill with live revelation or ammunition. I am threshing the nations thru the word and the spirit of God.
You know that some are helped.
I am here to cause a great division amongst the people as an
instrument or servant in the hands of Christ.
NOW brethren, wake up to a sense of your awful situation. walk the talk, produce results. When I say, Hoist your colors High I mean it. Show your allegiances this day. You are either with us or against us. Mutiny against Jesus Christ, his true church, his appointed leadership even if they are rotten cockroaches is sudden death. If you don’t like them, exceed their righteousness, but dont’t let excessive light blind you as the ancient Jews or Israelites, and you go by every wind of false doctrine beyond the mark. We either live by the law or die by the law. This boat we are all in is going to Zion and from there to the celestial kingdom, but we may make a stop by the port of hell and the telestial kingdom, as feared by some apostates, but not that it is our final destination, but just to drop some filthy travelers there. It all depends which law you are living. My compass tells me that we are heading for Zion on high tides.

This is sign seeking and is not in line with church doctrine and the words of our living prophets, despite the scriptures and truths found therein. This is the philosophies of men mingled with scripture. I too can testify that Jesus Christ lives, though I have not met him personally. I testify that The word of God constitutes the Holy Ghost, the words of the Living prophets and the scriptures.

Even though these are topics little discussed by the General Authorities today doesn’t make them any less true. I’m not sure why they don’t anymore, therefore leading members to not seek or believe these greater blessings. Today for some reason they only want us to look to them, but this was not always the case. On lds.org you have to go back 30 plus years to find these teachings, but they are there. Please don’t disbelieve because you were not taught this or heard of it. The whole temple IS this doctrine.
